Kayaking at Rapaura School
Look who I found practicing kayaking skills in the pool, the Bassett Room. All students managed to kayak up and down the pool before they head to Momorangi Bay next week for their EOTC camp. Thanks to Emma for coming in to support the children.
The tradition continues….
The lasting memory of our wonderful Y8’s is the engraving of their initials into the school tree. For as long as we can remember and talking to past students/parents/grandparents they have all left their ‘mark.’ The Plane tree has a particularly fast regrowth element where the bark flakes and regrows within each season.
Taiopenga 2015
